The product
Stellardian provides a digital mobility suite for rental and fleet operators. Its product connects vehicles and other assets through telematics and IoT, then makes that data available to its customer-facing and operational applications.
From KIRRK to Stellardian
Stellardian was the revamped evolution of KIRRK, so the cloud delivery foundation carried forward while the mobility product evolved. At RedFabriQ, Terraform managed consistent provisioning across multiple Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) environments. Pull requests included Terraform plans for infrastructure review.
Azure Repos and Azure Pipelines formed the code-to-release path: Docker image builds, automated tests, SonarQube analysis, publication to Azure Container Registry, and versioned Helm/Helmfile releases. The shared Azure platform also used Monitor, SQL Server, Storage, and Functions. Azure Policy and Open Policy Agent (OPA) Gatekeeper supplied governance for AKS workloads.
IoT and event-driven mobility
The IoT layer extended that common architecture: Azure IoT Hub handled connected-device integration, and Event Grid routed events into the services and workflows supporting the mobility experience. This gave the revamped product an operational path from connected assets into its digital rental and fleet capabilities.
Delivery outcome
Automated environment provisioning, build/test/analysis stages, policy checks, and repeatable Helm releases helped move validated changes to AKS quickly and consistently.
The result was a reusable, governed Azure foundation for Stellardian’s expanded connected-mobility platform, with IoT and event handling layered onto the delivery practices already established for KIRRK.
